"They met in 2010, became awesome friends at University, and then formed The Captain’s Daughters in early 2011. So who are they? They are a quirky group of over keen students and trouble-makers that blend acoustic indie-folk, weighted with the uniquely pure and captivating voices of the daughters.
The Captain’s Daughter’s use their embellished guitar picked riffs and classical piano melodies to produce compelling and thought provoking songs while incorporating simpler instruments into their arrangement (Glock and Melodica). Specialising in different genres, each Daughter and Captain bring something distinctive to each song, making every beat harmony and melody a bolt from the blue."
